The course offers you an opportunity to become a specialist in the area of international business with the added benefits of developing linguistic proficiency in French. Students will spend a year in France in and can choose to complete a work placement in a business setting. This practical hands-on experience equips students with a range of transferable skills that will provide students with a solid foundation for a future career within the business environment. Alternatively, students may complete a research activity instead.

In addition, the knowledge and skills gained from an international business studies degree make graduates employable and attractive to employers in the private, public and educational sectors. Students who impressed the companies they made contact with on their year abroad are often invited to take up positions with those companies upon graduation.

Recent graduates have found employment in the areas of travel, marketing and media, finance and civil service and have been employed as interpreters, translators and teachers both in this country and abroad.
